South Bend’s own Washington Panthers powered past Marian with a 28–14 win under the lights Friday night, fueled by a relentless ground game and clutch defensive stops. QB Elijah Young led the charge with a pair of rushing touchdowns, including a 40-yard breakaway that turned the tide in the third quarter. The offensive line held firm, giving Young and RB Terran Parker room to work, while WR Jaydon Lineberry added a red-zone score off a slick play-action pass. Washington moves to 2-3 on the season, with momentum building ahead of next week’s rivalry matchup with Adams.
