Final: Washington 38, Adams 66 The Washington girls basketball team stepped into a tough matchup against the Adams Eagles and battled through four quarters, ultimately falling 38–66. Even with the final score tilted toward Adams, the Panthers showed stretches of grit, composure, and competitive fire that continue to define their identity this season. Washington opened the game with energy on the defensive end, contesting shots and forcing early turnovers. As the night went on, Adams’ size and pace created challenges, but the Panthers kept fighting for rebounds, diving for loose balls, and creating scoring opportunities through hustle. Offensively, Washington found rhythm in spurts — pushing the ball in transition, knocking down key shots, and moving with purpose in the half court. Several players stepped up with strong effort plays that kept the team grounded and connected, even as Adams made their runs. While the scoreboard didn’t swing their way, the Panthers walked away with valuable experience and a clearer sense of where they’re growing. The team’s resilience, commitment to each other, and willingness to compete every possession remain the foundation they’re building on. Washington now turns the page and prepares for the next challenge, carrying forward the lessons and the fight they showed on the court
